Proposal mooted for school van or school bus drivers to be accompanied by a conductor

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil wants the Transport Ministry to set up a policy to ensure school van and bus drivers are accompanied by either a conductor or co-driver. She was responding to the incident of a bus driver who allegedly raped a 10-year-old passenger in the bus.
